Budget

As we begin to think about your Disney Experience, budget is a crucial factor as to what we can accomplish during your trip. I understand that budget can be difficult to measure, especially if you haven’t been to Disney before. So, let’s make it easy!

Considering resort accommodations, theme park tickets, food, ground transportation to/from the airport, and travel insurance, what is the maximum you want to spend per person, per night for your Walt Disney World vacation?

Details & Deposit Information

Disney makes booking your trip easy! A Walt Disney World Package is when you purchase both a hotel/resort and tickets together. When this happens, you only need a $200 refundable deposit to make the reservation, with the remainder due 30 days before check-in. The $200 is refundable up to the 30 days, and then is not refundable after that.

If booking WDW Tickets Only, the full amount is due when the tickets are purchased. These are non-refundable. If booking resort accommodations without tickets, the first night is due when booked, with the remainder due at check-in. You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before check-in and get a refund. Other elements of your trip will vary and may or may not be cancellable or refundable.

Details About Your Trip

Time in the Theme Parks

Walt Disney World consists of 4 theme parks, which at a minimum, require at least 1 day each to complete:

  • Magic Kingdom: The original Walt Disney World park. I recommend at least 2 days to complete this park for those who never experienced it or those with children. Great for all ages.
  • EPCOT: A large park with two distinct areas: future world and world showcase. A must-do park for foodies that also features amazing rides. A great park for pre-teens and up. Less rides and attractions than other parks. I recommend one day in this park.
  • Hollywood Studios: The only park that has Star Wars and Toy Story in it, as well as a great Disney Junior presence. Fantastic thrill rides and smaller rides. Great park for all ages. At least one day is needed for this park.
  • Animal Kingdom Park: A park that celebrates nature and animals. Wonderful story-telling and amazing shows! Features Avatar and a fantastic rollercoaster in Expedition Everest. Those who love Lion King will love this park. This park can be done in less than a day.

Please indicate the # of days you want to spend at each park:

Disney offers multiple ticket types that give you various levels of access:

  • Base ticket: Grant access to one theme park per day.
  • Park Hopper: Allow access to multiple parks on the same day.
  • Water Parks and More Ticket: Admission to 1 theme park per day plus access to either of the two water parks.
  • Park Hopper Plus Ticket: Access to multiple theme parks per day plus water parks and other select options like miniature golf and ESPN Wide World of Sports.
  • Special Events: During Halloween, you can purchase a separately ticketed event ticket for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and during Christmas, you can purchase a separately ticketed event for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or JollyWood Nights. These are not part of your regular ticket packages and offer limited capacity of crowds with special entertainment.
  • After Hour Events: At various times of the year, you may get access to a theme park after hours until midnight with limited capacity giving you great access to all the attractions in that park.

Special Trip Needs

Every trip is different. Disney and our vendor partners offer a variety of services and resources depending on your unique needs. This include:

  • Disability Access Services: This service supports guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period. This requires an interview with a cast member beginning at 30 days before your arrival date.
  • Wheelchairs, Scooters, and Strollers: Our partner, ScooterBug, will drop this rented item off at your resort’s Bell Services area for pick-up by 9am on your arrival day for use for the duration of your stay. They will pick it up by 9am on your departure day. This is completely seamless.

Please let me know if any of the following apply to you. Select any that apply.
