Universal Orlando Planning Blueprint

Because planning a Universal Orlando vacation can feel overwhelming, I’ve put together a questionnaire that will help guide you (and me) as we put together the perfect vacation, together. It takes into consideration all the factors you see here and then some to ensure no detail is missed.

Remember: my services are completely free to you when you book. You pay the same as if you booked on your own, but you gain my YEARS of EXPERTISE.

Here’s Why Using My Free Services Can Make Your Trip Special:

  • Expertise and Insider Knowledge: Not only do I plan trips to Universal Orlando, I have been there several times which means I have in-depth knowledge of the parks, dining options, resorts, and current promotions
  • Time-Saving: Planning a Universal trip can be time-consuming, involving research on tickets, accommodations, dining, and transportation. I handles these tasks, freeing up your time for other aspects of your trip.
  • Personalized Recommendations: I can customize your itinerary based on your interests, budget, and travel style. I can suggest rides, shows, and dining options that align with your preferences.
  • Potential Cost Savings: I can also help you maximize your budget by identifying cost-effective options for travel, dining, and entertainment.
  • Reduced Stress: Planning a vacation can be stressful, especially with the added complexities of a theme park trip. I can handle the logistics, reducing your stress levels and allowing you to focus on enjoying your vacation.

Budget

As we begin to think about your Universal Orlando Experience, budget is a crucial factor as to what we can accomplish during your trip. I understand that budget can be difficult to measure, especially if you haven’t been to Universal Orlando before. So, let’s make it easy!

Considering resort accommodations, theme park tickets, food, ground transportation to/from the airport, and travel insurance, what is the maximum you want to spend per person, per night for your Universal Orlando vacation?

Details & Deposit Information

Universal makes booking your trip easy! A Universal Orlando package is when you purchase both hotel/resort and tickets together. When this happens, you only need a $50/person refundable deposit to make the reservation for most room types, with the remainder due 45 days before check-in. The initial deposit is refundable up to the 45 days, and then it is not refundable after that.

If booking Universal Orlando Tickets only, then the full amount is due when the tickets are purchased. These are non-refundable. If booking resort accommodations only without tickets, the first night is due when booked, with the remainder due at check-in. You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before check-in and get a refund. Other elements of your trip will vary and may or may not be cancellable or refundable.

Details About Your Trip

Time in the Theme Parks

Universal Orlando consists of 4 theme parks, which at a minimum, require at least 1 day to complete each. An important note for Harry Potter fans: to fully experience all Harry Potter attractions and experiences, you will need to visit 3 of the 4 theme parks as outlined below.

  • Universal Studios: The original Universal Orlando park. I recommend 1 day to complete this park, especially if experiencing it without express passes. Harry Potter Diagon Alley is located here.
  • Universal Islands of Adventure: With a lot of intellectual property to get through, this park is a full day park and depending on how much you enjoy the rides, many guests enjoy it for 2 days. Harry Potter Hogsmeade is located here.
  • Universal Epic Universe: The newest theme park in Orlando, this theme park requires at least one full day and possibly two to experience all it has to offer including Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk, Universal Dark Monster, and Harry Potter Ministry of Magic.
  • Universal Volcano Bay Theme Park: While technically a “water park,” Universal calls this a “water theme park.” This typically can be completed in a half day through about 5pm, with time to visit other area attractions like CityWalk or visit another theme park later in the evening.

Please indicate the # of days you want to spend at each park:

Ticket type

Universal offers multiple ticket types that give you various levels of access:

  • Single Park Per Day: Visit only one park per day for the duration of your requested parks. Cannot move from park to park. If Volcano Bay is included in your plans, this will count as one of your park days.
  • Park to Park Pass: Visit more than one park per day for the duration of your requested parks. Can move from park to park. If Volcano Bay is included in your plans, you can freely move to/from it to other parks.

Rest Days

While it may not seem like it now, planning a rest day in the middle of your Universal trip is always a good idea. This doesn’t count your arrival or departure day. How many rest days would you like to plan in your trip?

Special Trip Needs

Every trip is different. Universal and our vendor partners offer a variety of services and resources depending on your unique needs. This include:

  • Disability Services: This service supports guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period. This requires an interview with a cast member beginning at 30 days before your arrival date.
  • Wheelchairs, Scooters, and Strollers: Our partner, ScooterBug, will drop this rented item off at your resort’s Bell Services area for pick-up by 9am on your arrival day for use for the duration of your stay. They will pick it up by 9am on your departure day. This is completely seamless.

Please let me know if any of the following apply to you. Select any that apply.
