Sandals Deposit & Cancellation Information

Sandals Deposit Requirements: For most rooms, Sandals requires a $98 deposit to hold your reservation with an additional deposit of $302 due 21 days later. This can be paid all at once if you prefer. The final balance for your vacation is due 45 days before arrival. Bookings made 60 days or less before arrival may require payment in full at the time of booking. There are some room categories where this policy is different and you will be given that information if the planned room falls into that category.

Sandals Cancellation Policy: You will be provided full details about the Sandals cancellation policy upon booking, but generally speaking you will get 100% refund if you cancel 45 days or more prior to check-in. If you cancel within the 45 to 30 day window, you will get a 50% refund. Any cancellations made within 30 days of your reservation will not receive a refund of any kind.

Travel Insurance Information

It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance. For US-based clients, travel insurance is provided through AIG TravelGuard. Canadian clients have options outside of this product. Travel Insurance covers various travel-related risks which may include coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, medical emergencies, baggage loss/delays, and more. Coverage varies by plan you will be sent full details of what is covered when you book. Because this is international travel, it is strongly recommended that you purchase it.

I have been made aware of the recommendation of travel insurance and understand I will have a choice to add it onto my booking. If I choose not to do so, I will be required to sign a waiver.

Professional Planning Deposit Information

I take pride in the professional services I offer and am proud to be a fee-free agent. To protect my time in planning your trip, I may require a non-refundable professional planning deposit of $200 to initiate planning services beyond the initial conversation we have. This deposit secures my time and expertise dedicated to crafting your personalized travel itinerary. Here is how the deposit is handled:

Application to Final Payment: Upon booking your trip with me, this $200 deposit will be applied directly towards your final payment.
Non-Refundable in Case of Non-Booking or Cancellation: In the event that you choose not to book your trip with me after the planning process has begun, or if you cancel your plans after I have commenced work, this $200 deposit will be retained as compensation for the time and effort invested in your itinerary development.
