Booking Window

Your booking window opens up a few months before your sail date for both Port Adventures and on-board activities and will vary depending on your Castaway Club Status or if you’re a Concierge Level Guest:

  • Concierge Guests: 130 days before sailing.
  • Pearl Castaway Club Members: 123 days before sailing.
  • Platinum Castaway Club Members: 120 days before sailing.
  • Gold Castaway Club Members: 105 days before sailing.
  • Silver Castaway Club Members: 90 days before sailing.
  • First Time Guests: 75 days before sailing.

You will want to make sure that you have downloaded the Disney Cruise app and linked your confirmation that was sent to you by Magical Memories by Casey.

Below are two links that show you all the possibilities for your cruise. You can filter by ship, destination, and others to explore all that a Disney Cruise has to offer:

On the day your booking window opens, you can book the adventures or activities that you want. If any are unavailable, there may be more spots available on your embarkation day. Magical Memories by Casey can help with these bookings, but because there are hundreds of options, it is recommended that you book these for yourself.

Online Check-In

At 30 days before your departure, you can start the online check-in process. This process is done through the Disney Cruise Line app or online. This process must be completed by you. During this process you will:

  • Guest Information: Add contact details, travel documents, and photos for your travel party.
  • Onboard Account: Let Disney know about payment information to cover additional charges during your cruise.
  • Travel Plans: Let Disney know of your arrival and departure plans before and after the cruise.
  • Port Arrival Time: Select the time period that reflects when you will arrive at the cruise terminal.
  • Cruise Contract: Review and accept the terms and conditions for sailing with Disney Cruise Line.

Royal Caribbean Resources

  • Upon booking, create a Royal Caribbean account at http://www.royalcaribbean.com and download the Royal Caribbean app to your phone. Note: unless there are minors in the party, all members will need to create an account.
  • Link the reservation # of your cruise to your account. From there, you can begin exploring all your cruise has to offer. This can be done at any point after booking.
  • When Can You Book On-Board Activities and Shore Excursions? This will vary by ship and also by activity. It’s best to link your reservation number to your app so you can see specifics regarding your ship.
  • When is Final Payment Due?
For cruises that are 1 to 4 nights, payment is due 75 days before. For cruises of 5 to 14 nights, payment is due 90 days before. For cruises 15 days or longer, payment is due 120 days before.
  • Checking In:
    • Open the app, tap “check-in” on the home page. Verify cruise detail. Tap “start check-in.” Tap travel info.
    • Scan the guest passport and take a self security photo.
    • Complete the Cruise Ticket Contract and Health Acknowledgements.
    • Select “Arrival Time” and choose your required Arrival Time at the terminal on sail date.
      • For the best check-in and boarding experience, guests should arrive only during their pre-selected check-in/wellness screening time with their entire traveling party. All members of a party must check-in together. Guest’s check-in appointment is dedicated for their screening, so arriving earlier will have them turned away until their time.
    • Complete these check-in steps for each guest and view boarding passes.
    • 24 hours before embarkation, a push notification will be sent.
      • Tap the app notification to complete the Health Questionnaire.
      • Tap “Health and Safety.”
    • Complete the Health Questionnaire, required of all guests before sailing.
    • Complete the Guest Safety Briefing required of all guests before sailing.
    • Present your boarding pass at the terminal at your Arrival Time. Also present medical testing documentation upon request.
