Important ID Information

Domestic Identification Requirements: Starting May 7, 2025, most U.S. citizens will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification to board domestic flights.

REAL ID: A driver’s license or state-issued ID that meets specific security standards set by the federal government.
Alternatives: If you don’t have a REAL ID, you can use a valid U.S. passport, passport card, or other acceptable forms of identification.

International Identification Requirements: For international travel from the United States, a valid U.S. passport is the primary and most commonly accepted form of identification. A valid passport must not be set to expire any less than 6 months from your return date.

Note: most closed-loop cruises that originate in the United States do not require a passport to board. However, there will be requirements to have an original copy of your birth certificate.
